Classic


The Classic phonograph was manufactured by the Artcraft Phonograph Company Limited, 985 Granville Street, Vancouver, B.C.

Vancouver Sun, May 21, 1922, p. 23: "Arrangements were completed last week whereby Mr. A.B. Scott, the well-known eastern manufacturer, secured a substantial interest in the Artcraft Phonograph Co., Ltd., the local company manufacturing in Vancouver the new "Classic" phonographs..... Mr. Scott is taking an active part in the management of the company." In fact, he became its president.

In August 1922 they changed their name to the Classic Phonograph Company Limited.
