The Virgil phonograph was put on the market by the Plaola Piano Company Limited, Oshawa, Ontario. Frank W, Bull, President of Plaola, was Director of the Williams Piano Co. who manufactured the Plaola and Virgil pianos. Williams may also have manufactured the Virgil phonograph for Plaola.
