Alethophonic

Alethophonic refers to a phonograph and a brand of soundbox produced by W.H. Banfield and Sons Ltd. in Toronto, Ontario, (see Stewart page) in the 1920s. The Alethophonic soundbox was a specific component used in some of their phonographs, including models like the Golden Throated International phonograph. There's an example of an Alethophonic soundbox at the Musee des Ondes Emile Berliner in Montreal.
