Edison's lab falling into decay

Housed in the laboratory and other buildings in Essex County, New Jersey, are more than five
million documents and 390,000 artifacts of Thomas Alva Edison. Most are uncatalogued,
deteriorating and in danger of being lost to decay. See page 3.

promptly took up the challenge ... to research the Canadian Columbia group of labels produced during

early history of the phonograph. Several members of the Society participated in a "show-and-tell"
of the rare and the out-of-the-ordinary from their collections. This Graphophone 'AK' owned by
